Advocacy Committee:  Advocacy Committee: The advocacy committee organizes to address local and state issues related to sustainable building practices or procedures in the State of Iowa. We advocate for green building practices on all relevant public policies, incentives and legislations. We will promote LEED as the standard for public and private green building design in Iowa. We will work to inform the local Chapter, as well as, the National USGBC on state-wide issues related to advocacy matters.
